The COBB 7H2500-BK Intercooler Kit is engineered to deliver superior cooling performance for the Honda Civic Type R (FL5) and Acura Integra Type-S (DE5). Built around a high-quality Garrett core that is 101% larger than the OEM unit, measuring 26.2" x 7" x 4.25", this intercooler ensures consistent power output under demanding conditions by effectively reducing heat-soak. Custom COBB-designed cast aluminum end tanks are optimized for airflow and even air distribution across the core, ensuring maximum cooling efficiency without restricting flow.

The kit includes 2.5" mandrel-bent aluminum charge piping, finished in wrinkle black powder coat, along with reinforced silicone couplers and constant-tension clamps for a secure and leak-free installation. Designed as a direct-fit solution, the intercooler requires no modification for the Civic Type R and minimal adjustments for the Integra Type-S. Bespoke billet upper mounts and upgraded bushings provide additional structural support for the heavier all-aluminum construction.
