VERUS ENGINEERING A0738A Swan Neck Rear Wing Kit UCW for SUBARU BRZ / TOYOTA GR86 (ZN8 / ZD8)
Description VERUS ENGINEERING A0738A Swan Neck Rear Wing Kit UCW for SUBARU BRZ / TOYOTA GR86 (ZN8 / ZD8)
The VERUS ENGINEERING A0738A Swan Neck UCW Rear Wing Kit is engineered for the Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 (ZN8 / ZD8) to deliver a substantial increase in rear downforce for track-focused applications. Based on the classic UCW wing silhouette, this swan neck configuration improves aerodynamic efficiency compared to traditional bottom-mount designs while maintaining a clean, OE-integrated appearance.
The rear wing mounts directly to the factory trunk and is designed to withstand significant aerodynamic loads under high-speed operation. Using advanced CFD analysis during development, the airfoil was optimized for performance within the defined packaging constraints derived from the V1X platform. Additional airflow validation ensured consistent and effective performance once installed on the vehicle.
In-house 3D scan data was utilized to achieve near-OEM fit and finish across all mounting interfaces. The uprights and mounts are designed to complement the natural body lines of the BRZ and GR86 while providing the structural rigidity required for high downforce operation. The UCW Swan Neck Rear Wing is intended for drivers seeking to balance aggressive front aerodynamic systems, such as the Verus Engineering Front Splitter Kit.
- Swan neck mounting design for improved aerodynamic efficiency
- Optimized airfoil developed using CFD and refined through wind tunnel testing
- Direct bolt-on installation utilizing the factory trunk structure
- Capable of generating and withstanding over 500 lbs of downforce
- Designed to balance substantial front aerodynamic packages
Specifications:
- Rear Wing Material: 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon fiber, autoclave cured
- Wing Finish: Automotive high-gloss clear coat
- Mounting Hardware: Machined 6061-T6 aluminum
- Manufacturing Process: In-house 5-axis CNC machining
- Angle of Attack Adjustment: 0–15 degrees
- Hardware: Stainless steel, installation templates included
