The VERUS ENGINEERING A0649A-FFV UCW Swan Neck Rear Wing Kit with FFV endplates is developed for the Toyota Supra Mk5 to deliver a substantial increase in rear downforce, improved aerodynamic efficiency, and enhanced stability during track driving. The swan neck (goose neck) mounting configuration positions the supports above the wing profile, allowing the airfoil to operate in cleaner airflow and improving overall performance compared to bottom-mounted designs.
During development, the UCW airfoil was optimized using ANSYS Adjoint Solver and CFD analysis based on the V1X-derived build volume. Additional CFD validation ensured consistent airflow performance when installed on the vehicle. In-house 3D scan data was used throughout the design process, resulting in near-OEM fit and finish and precise integration with the factory trunk.
The FFV carbon fiber endplates further enhance aerodynamic stability by improving pressure management at the wing tips. This configuration is intended for track-focused Supra builds requiring a significant increase in rear downforce to properly balance aggressive front aerodynamic systems.
