The VERUS ENGINEERING A0598A V1X swan neck rear wing kit is developed for the Toyota Supra (Mk5) to significantly increase rear downforce, improve vehicle balance, and enhance on-track stability. Designed to mount directly to the factory trunk, the wing structure is engineered to withstand high aerodynamic loads while maintaining near-OEM fit and finish.

During development, Verus Engineering utilized in-house 3D scan data along with advanced CFD analysis and ANSYS adjoint optimization to refine the airfoil shape. This process ensures efficient airflow, improved lift-to-drag ratio, and effective balance when paired with aggressive front aerodynamic systems such as splitters. The swan neck mounting design promotes clean airflow across the wing’s working surface for consistent aerodynamic performance.

The V1X rear wing operates across a wide angle-of-attack range, allowing it to be tuned to match various front aero configurations. As part of the Verus Engineering Ventus 5 aerodynamic system, this rear wing contributes to increased cornering performance and reduced lap times under track conditions.
