The VERUS ENGINEERING A0582A UCW rear wing kit is engineered to significantly increase rear downforce on the Honda Civic Type R (FK8), improving vehicle balance, stability, and confidence during track driving. Designed to bolt directly to the factory trunk, the wing installs similarly to an OEM component while being capable of handling substantial aerodynamic loads.
During development, advanced simulation tools including ANSYS Adjoint Solver and CFD analysis were used to optimize the airfoil shape for maximum aerodynamic efficiency within the available design volume. In-house scan data was utilized to achieve near-OEM fit and finish, ensuring proper airflow interaction and structural integrity. The UCW rear wing is intended for drivers running aggressive front aerodynamic systems and requiring increased rear downforce to maintain balance.
