The VERUS ENGINEERING A0497A Rear Diffuser Panel Kit is designed to complete the factory rear diffuser area on the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 and GT4 RS when OEM suitcase-style mufflers are replaced with aftermarket exhaust systems. The factory center diffuser performs effectively, but removing the original mufflers leaves open voids that disrupt underbody airflow and increase aerodynamic drag. This kit fills those voids with properly contoured diffuser panels and strakes to restore controlled airflow.

Using in-house 3D scan data, Verus Engineering developed the panels to achieve near-OEM fit and finish while integrating seamlessly with the factory diffuser geometry. CFD analysis was applied during development to ensure improved aerodynamic efficiency compared to the standard vehicle configuration. By containing horseshoe vortices generated at the rear wheels, the panels help provide cleaner airflow to the center diffuser.
