The VERUS ENGINEERING A0432A hood louver kit is designed for the Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 (ZN8 / ZD8) to reduce engine bay heat and internal pressure while improving overall aerodynamic efficiency. By evacuating hot air from the engine bay, the louver enhances cooling stack performance, supports underhood component longevity, and contributes to increased front-end downforce.
Developed using vehicle scan data, the louver follows the factory hood contours for an OEM-style fit and finish. Placement was carefully selected in an area of naturally low pressure while minimizing removal of factory hood structure. This ensures effective evacuation performance without compromising structural integrity.
CFD analysis and on-track testing confirmed a significant reduction in underhood temperatures and pressure. By relieving pressure beneath the hood, upward force on the front end is reduced, improving front-end grip during both street and track driving.
