The VERUS ENGINEERING A0428A UCW rear wing kit with carbon spoiler is designed for the Porsche Cayman (987) to dramatically improve rear-end grip and high-speed stability. Featuring a 250 mm chord UCW wing element, the system delivers a significant increase in rear downforce and is capable of reducing lap times when used in track-focused driving conditions. The aerodynamic package was developed using CFD to improve overall vehicle performance and maintain an effective aerodynamic balance.
The wing uprights are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and validated using FEA to ensure high structural strength with minimized weight. The carbon ducktail spoiler mounts to the OEM trunk lid using multiple fasteners and distributes aerodynamic loads through several mounting points to the chassis. The carbon components are manufactured from pre-preg material and autoclave cured, ensuring durability and consistent performance under high aerodynamic loads.
