The VERUS ENGINEERING A0162A Underbody Cover Kit is designed to complete the factory underbody of the Porsche Cayman GT4 (981) by filling exposed gaps that generate aerodynamic drag. By covering turbulent areas beneath the center of the vehicle with flat aluminum panels, airflow is significantly smoothed, reducing drag and improving overall underbody efficiency. This improvement also enhances airflow delivery to the rear diffuser, allowing it to function more effectively.

The panels are manufactured from CNC-cut aluminum and finished in a durable black powder coat for long-term protection and visual integration. When paired with a rear diffuser, the underbody covers contribute to a simultaneous reduction in lift and drag. CFD analysis estimates a reduction in drag coefficient of approximately 0.007, improving efficiency at speed. While optimized for the Cayman GT4 (981), the kit can be adapted to other Porsche 981 models with minor mounting modifications.
