The VERUS ENGINEERING A0101A-BARE aluminum hood louver kit is designed to reduce engine bay heat and pressure on the Ford Mustang S550. By evacuating hot air from a low-pressure zone on the hood, the louvers improve airflow through the radiator and cooling stack, increasing overall cooling efficiency. Reduced underhood pressure also contributes to lower front-end lift, resulting in a measurable aerodynamic benefit during high-speed driving.

Developed using CFD analysis and vehicle scan data, the louvers follow OEM hood body lines while minimizing the removal of structural material. This approach preserves hood rigidity and ensures an integrated, factory-like appearance.
