The VERUS ENGINEERING A0079A-BLK-N17 hood louver Kit N17 is designed to reduce engine bay heat and underhood pressure on the Ford Focus RS and ST (MK3). By improving the evacuation of hot air from the engine bay, the louvers enhance airflow through the radiator and additional cooling components, resulting in increased cooling stack efficiency. Lower pressure buildup beneath the hood also contributes to reduced front-end lift and improved aerodynamic stability.

Developed using 3D scan data and CFD analysis, the louvers are positioned in a low-pressure region of the hood while following OEM body lines. This design approach preserves the majority of the factory hood’s structural material while delivering functional thermal and aerodynamic benefits. The N17 configuration incorporates optional wickers, which significantly increase functional effectiveness when installed. The black powder-coated finish provides durability and a clean, factory-integrated appearance.
