The VERUS ENGINEERING A0053A-BLK-CK5 Hood Louver Kit CK5 is engineered to improve thermal management and pressure control in the engine bay of the Subaru WRX / STI (VA). By enhancing airflow evacuation from the engine compartment, the louvers increase cooling stack efficiency, allowing the radiator and auxiliary cooling components to operate more effectively under demanding conditions.

Designed using CFD analysis, the louvers are positioned in low-pressure zones to maximize hot air extraction while maintaining the structural integrity of the OEM hood. Reducing pressure buildup in the engine bay also helps minimize front-end lift, providing a slight increase in front-end downforce. Each Kit includes optional wickers, which significantly enhance airflow evacuation when installed.
