The VERUS ENGINEERING A0676A-RED Brake Master Cylinder Brace Kit is engineered to resolve brake master cylinder flex commonly experienced on the Honda Civic Type R (FL5). This issue is caused by flexing of the thin firewall sheet metal under brake pedal load, which can result in a vague and inconsistent brake pedal feel, particularly during track driving.

This brace significantly reduces unwanted movement of the brake master cylinder, providing a firmer and more consistent pedal response. Internal testing demonstrated an approximate 76% reduction in master cylinder deflection compared to the OEM configuration. The kit installs using a simple, non-invasive process and is suitable for both track-driven vehicles and street applications seeking improved brake feedback.
