The VERUS ENGINEERING A0676A-BLU Brake Master Cylinder Brace Kit is engineered to address brake master cylinder flex commonly found on the Honda Civic Type R (FL5). This issue is caused by flexing of the thin firewall sheet metal under brake pedal load, which can result in a vague or inconsistent pedal feel, particularly during track driving.

This brace significantly reduces unwanted movement of the brake master cylinder, delivering a firmer and more consistent brake pedal feel. Internal testing showed an approximate 76% reduction in master cylinder deflection compared to the OEM configuration. The kit installs using a simple, non-invasive process and is suitable for both track-focused vehicles and street cars seeking improved braking feedback.

All components are manufactured in-house on 5-axis CNC machines in Indianapolis, Indiana. The brace features a bright anodized blue finish, laser-engraved branding, and stainless hardware throughout. As with all anodized components, prolonged exposure to engine bay heat may result in gradual color fading.
