The VERUS ENGINEERING A0559A-BLK Brake Master Cylinder Brace Kit is designed to address brake master cylinder flex commonly found in the Honda Civic Type R (FK8). Factory firewall sheet metal can flex under brake pedal load, resulting in a vague or inconsistent pedal feel, particularly during aggressive driving or track use.

This brace kit significantly reduces firewall deflection by reinforcing the brake master cylinder mounting point. Testing showed an approximate 76% reduction in brake master cylinder movement compared to the OEM configuration, resulting in a firmer and more consistent brake pedal feel. The components are precision machined in-house on 5-axis CNC machines, anodized, laser engraved, and manufactured entirely in the USA. The kit is compatible with left-hand drive Honda Civic Type R (FK8) and manual 10th generation Civic models.
