The VERUS ENGINEERING A0199A-RED Air Oil Separator Kit is designed for the Subaru WRX and STI (VA) to keep the intake system free of oil contamination and maintain consistent engine performance. Oil entering the intake reduces effective octane, which can lead to detonation, reduced power output, and carbon buildup. This AOS installs in an OE-style configuration and does not require any changes to engine tuning or vehicle setup.

The system filters both the crankcase vent and intake vent locations through a single separator unit. Four 5-micron coalescent filters, combined with internal baffling and stainless steel mesh, provide high-efficiency separation of oil vapor from crankcase gases. An optional coolant hook-up kit is available to circulate engine coolant through the AOS body, helping to reduce condensation buildup during cold-weather operation.
