The VERUS ENGINEERING A0199A-BLK Air Oil Separator Kit is designed for the Subaru WRX and STI (VA) to prevent oil vapor from entering the intake system, helping to maintain consistent engine performance and reliability. Oil contamination in the intake can reduce effective octane, increase the risk of detonation, decrease power output, and contribute to carbon buildup. This AOS installs in an OE-style configuration and does not require changes to engine tuning or overall setup.

The system filters both the crankcase vent and intake vent locations through a single unit. Four 5-micron coalescent filters, combined with internal baffling and stainless steel mesh, provide high-efficiency separation of oil vapor from crankcase gases. An optional coolant hook-up kit is available to circulate engine coolant through the AOS body, reducing condensation buildup during cold-weather operation.
