The K&N RU-5401 universal air filter is designed for a wide range of applications, including racing vehicles, radio-controlled cars, generators, snowmobiles, tractors, and similar equipment. The filter is intended to fit a 4 in (102 mm) intake diameter and uses durable rubber components designed to help absorb vibration for secure attachment, with up to 1/16 in (1.5 mm) stretch to accommodate in-between sizes. Multiple layers of cotton gauze filter media treated with a tacking agent are used to help block and trap contaminants. The filter is washable, reusable, and supplied pre-oiled for use.
