The BBS RT88 wheel delivers authentic motorsport engineering combined with the durability required for modern high-performance road cars. Developed through collaboration between BBS Motorsport teams in Germany and the United States, the RT88 brings the legendary design philosophy of the BBS E88 racing wheel into a road-ready configuration suitable for both everyday driving and track-day performance.
The wheel features a forged multi-spoke center inspired by the iconic E88 race wheel paired with a high-strength forged barrel derived from the BBS LM program developed in Japan. This advanced two-piece forged aluminum construction increases rigidity while reducing unsprung mass, improving steering response, braking stability, and overall driving dynamics.
Unlike dedicated racing wheels, the RT88 incorporates durable road-ready finishes and enhanced sealing technology designed to withstand real-world driving conditions including temperature changes, road impacts, and long-term use. The structure is optimized using FEM analysis to achieve an ideal balance between strength, weight reduction, and structural stiffness.
This version features the premium Black Bright Diamond Cut finish and is engineered specifically for Porsche 992 Carrera models. The design also provides excellent clearance for large performance brake systems including carbon ceramic brakes.
