The BBS RT88 wheel brings authentic motorsport engineering to high-performance road vehicles. Developed through collaboration between BBS Motorsport teams in Germany and the United States, the RT88 translates the legendary design philosophy of the BBS E88 racing wheel into a durable, road-ready configuration designed for both spirited driving and track-day use.
The wheel features a forged multi-spoke center inspired by the iconic E88 race wheel paired with a high-strength forged barrel derived from the BBS LM program developed in Japan. This advanced two-piece forged aluminum construction enhances rigidity while reducing unsprung mass, improving steering response, braking stability, and overall driving dynamics.
Unlike dedicated racing wheels, the RT88 incorporates durable road-ready finishes and improved sealing technology designed to withstand real-world driving conditions including temperature fluctuations, road impacts, and long-term use. The structure is optimized using FEM analysis to provide an ideal balance between strength, weight reduction, and structural stiffness.
This version features the premium Black Bright Diamond Cut finish and is engineered specifically for Porsche 992 Carrera models. The design also provides the clearance required for high-performance braking systems, including large carbon ceramic brakes commonly installed on Porsche performance vehicles.
