The BBS RT88 wheel combines authentic motorsport engineering with the durability required for high-performance road vehicles. Developed through close collaboration between BBS Motorsport teams in Germany and the United States, the RT88 translates the iconic design philosophy of the legendary BBS E88 racing wheel into a configuration engineered for road and track-day use.
The wheel features a forged multi-spoke center inspired by the classic E88 race wheel paired with a high-strength forged barrel derived from the BBS LM program developed in Japan. This advanced two-piece forged aluminum construction increases structural rigidity while reducing unsprung mass, improving steering response, suspension performance, and overall driving dynamics.
Unlike dedicated racing wheels, the RT88 incorporates durable road-ready finishes and enhanced sealing technology designed to withstand real-world driving conditions such as temperature changes, road impacts, and everyday use. The structure is optimized using FEM analysis to achieve an ideal balance between strength, rigidity, and lightweight performance.
This version features the Black Bright Diamond Cut finish and is engineered specifically for Porsche vehicles equipped with a Center Lock hub system, ensuring precise fitment and compatibility with high-performance braking systems including carbon ceramic brakes commonly installed on Porsche GT models.
