Developed through collaboration between BBS Motorsport teams in Germany and the United States, the RT88 integrates the engineering principles and visual identity of the legendary BBS E88 racing wheel into a configuration optimized for high-performance street vehicles and track-day applications.
The design combines a forged multi-spoke center inspired by the iconic E88 with a high-strength forged barrel derived from the BBS LM wheel program developed in Japan. This architecture improves structural rigidity while reducing unsprung mass, contributing to enhanced steering precision, suspension response, and overall vehicle dynamics. Unlike dedicated racing wheels, the RT88 incorporates durable coatings and improved air retention, allowing reliable long-term road use without the maintenance requirements typical of pure motorsport wheels.
